Canterbury Primary and Intermediate Schools Artistic Gymnastics Championship 2012.

Yesterday we sent two teams of 8 girls to the Canterbury Primary and Intermediate Schools Artistic Gymnastics Championship and they all did an awesome job.  They have been training for a term and a half and put a lot of work in to the competition.

Our Grade 1 Team (Lily McCormick, Dana Dwight, Sophie Commons and Ellie Stokes) were thrilled with their 1st Place and lots of the girls had individual placing in different disciplines - we are all very proud of you girls, well done.

Thank you to Sarah for stepping up and in when we needed you and thank you to Becky Bishop and Aleisha Pascoe for their support on the day.  Thank you also to Brigette, Anne and Heather for transporting and supporting on the day.

A huge thank you to Helen Chambers for giving us her expertise and for giving up so much of her time to coach the girls with me.  Helen you are a star and they could not have done as well as they did with out you, BIG, HUGE thanks!!
