We spent time talking with the Lifeguards about being SunSmart, SurfSmart and how we need to be prepared for the beach.
We also played beach games on the sand like octopus, relays and built sand castles.
We also spent time in the water doing beach starts, boggie boarding, wading, relays and we became sea monsters.
We learnt:
Slip - on clothing
Slop - on sun block
Slap - on a hat
Slurp - some water
Slide - under some shade
Smudge - on some lip balm
Step - in to shoes
Wrap - sun glasses around your face
