Room 2's Book Reviews on Running Wild by Michael Morpurgo

Running Wild by Michael Morpurgo is an awesome book to use in the classroom as a read allowed novel.  The book takes you on a roller-coaster of emotions right from the outset.  The reader is forced to try and imagine, understand and empathise with a cross section of emotions, issues and questions.  The children loved the book as they followed Will and Oona on their amazing journey a journey about relationships, love and the discovery of what is important.
I loved the book myself and was very excited to read it to the class - I just new they would love it and be swept away with Will as his life changed forever...
A must read for all 9/10 - 13 year olds!!!
